TRADITIONAL RULERS ROLE IN NATION BUILDING, VERY VITAL - ABORO OF IBESE
In his bid to create an enabling environment and attracting the face of the government to the ancient town of Ibese as the custodian of the culture and traditions of the good people of Ibese Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Oluwarotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, the Aboro of Ibese, Yewa Kingdom, paid an historical visit to the Presidential Villa, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The highly revered monarch was respectfully received on behalf of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR by the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari CFR.
Oba Rotimi Mulero in a statement released to pressmen through the converner of Irorun De Si Ibese Forum, Ogbeni Ajibode Abdulkabir, opined that during his reign as the Aboro of Ibese land, and with the support of the council of Chiefs, the palace have pledged total commitment and the commitment of institutions to which we belong and with which we identify, to the protection and advance of our own enduring faith in a common humanity, a respect for the rights of others, but also declare an uncompromising embrace of responsibility for the defence and protection of the rights and egalitarian entitlements of our indigenous communities.
Alayeluwa in his statement further stressed that "We promise ourselves to join hands with the government at all levels in fashioning a realistic, functional, and sustainable charter of development for the welfare and progress of our peoples, culturally, economically, and spiritually, where every indigenous and residential citizens of our beloved Ibese kingdom, freely obtains access to the means of his or her chosen path of development, and the fulfilling knowledge of valuable contribution to the well-being and advance of the overall community, and of humanity."
It would be recalled that the highly revered traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rotimi Mulero was recently enthroned as the 14th Aboro of Ibese by Ogun State Government under the Dapo Abiodun led-administration, and since his ascension to the throne, he has embarked upon giant strides in other to attract workable development and progress to the land of Ibese where all indigenes and residents will live peacefully and successfully.
Oba Rotimi Mulero was accompanied by some prominent Chiefs and members of the Aboro-in- Council. Ogbeni Ajibode Abd'kabir concluded
