Aboro Advocates For Agricultural Prosperity, Lauds Dapo Abiodun's Agricultural Advancement Initiatives

AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION: ABORO HOST EXPERTS TO SENSITIZE IBESE FARMERS ON PROSPERITY AND ADVANCE FARMING

In His Majesty's bid to improve the agricultural revolution and prosperity of Ibese land while also complimenting the relentless efforts of the Government at all levels in improving the agricultural and economic growth rate of the country.

As a Royal father with deep concern in engaging critical stakeholders and experts in ensuring to create an enabling environment for agricultural advancement and healthy living through total eradication of unavailability of food supplies for our people in the ancient town of Ibese.

It is worthy to more that our beloved gateway State is advancing immensely in it's agricultural sector through the introduction of initiatives that has been helpful in our farm produce under the incumbent government led by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, the giant stride which has since the past 3 years till date earned our Governor the award from the Presidency as the Most Agricultural Friendly Governor in the country, through His Excellency's initiatives in agricultural intervention and development for the benefit of the citizens.

It is on this note that our highly respected Royal Father, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, the Aboro of Ibese Land, has taken it upon himself to invest massively in the agricultural status of Ibese land and it's environs which no doubt will help affect positively the standard of living with contribution to the socio-economic advancement of the land.

That was the line of focus on Thursday 8th of December, 2022, when Kabiesi Aboro played host of farmers to a Community Agricultural Capacity Building for Ibese farmers who trooper in in their large numbers to Aboro Palace. In His Majesty's Royal and fatherly remarks,  Alayeluwa welcome the farmers to the Palace and also appreciated them for their endurance in the past, Kabiesi further expatiated on the importance of hosting the program.

As our people will always say "ti oúnjẹ bá ti kúrò nínú iṣẹ, abuṣe ti buṣe", the need to improve in our agricultural value chain with the help from experts for both small, medium and large scale farmers in Ibese is very sacrosanct at this critical time when the world is evolving with the use of technology and electronic appliances in order to advance from our current low to large scale economic status through achieving increase in our production outputs. Kabiesi added.

As a people, we have to be ready to learn a new method that will add value to strengthening the resilience of our small-scale farmers in Ibese land, by creating  economic sustainability with the aim of becoming one of the food basket towns in Ogun State and through Agriculture. Hence, we decided to seek the intervention of experts in this regard by putting in efforts of seeking a partnership and collaborations that will contribute to empowering our farmers with the use of the modern day agricultural best practices and knowledge. This is how we intend to help our farmers become more commercial than local, this will also help to ease our work force with huge profitable returns for the betterment of our people across the nooks and crannies of Ibese land. Kabiesi Aboro emphasized.

In the course of the program Mr. Oladipo Olumide, the Chief Executive Officer of Agrovations Eco Limited, a professional agriculturist took the farmers in a lengthy, educative and interactive conversation in line with the best practices of the modern day agriculture.

Farmers in their numbers who attended the one day learning program appreciated the giant stride from Kabiesi Aboro as they  were able to learn new farming methods and skills.  Challenges that has been hindering the agricultural advancement in the land were also highlighted as Kabiyesi reiterate his commitment to finding lasting solution in due time.
