***Congratulate Gov. Dapo Abiodun On Forbes Pronouncement As Best Governor In Industrial Revolution 

The Ibese Progressive Union, an indigenous body in Ibese, Yewa North Local Government, Ogun West Senatorial District, comprising of community and religious leaders, market men and women, political and business figures and youths across the nooks and crannies of Ibese Land and it's environs. 

The body which held it's monthly town hall meeting on the 14th of January, 2023, with the mandate to consult and deliberate amongst all it's members in the town with a view to identify the political party and candidates to support at the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The body starts by first congratulating our industrious Governor and Chief Marketing Officer of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun - MFR , for his pronouncement yesterday as the "Forbes Africa's Best Governor in Industrial Revolution", which is an evidence of Mr Governor's successful efforts in attracting investors into the State with wide recognition of his immense global attraction of investors into the State, that has been recognized in the international space.

The Union moves to reaching the following resolutions that was unanimously agreed upon:

That in line with the principles of morality and necessity aimed towards the advancement of our democracy and also ensuring the progress and development of our communities, the leadership of Ibese Progressive Union considers it as a point of duty to interfere and chart a new face of political relevance with the zeal of orientating the citizens domiciled in Ibese Land and it's neighbouring environments, on the need to  start getting involved in politics.

While we align accordingly in exercising our franchise and constitutional obligations as citizens craving for a country, state and our community, having reviewed the agitations/demands of our people in economic growth, social welfare, infrastructural development, political relevance and quest for a new prosperous and peaceful Ibese land since the coronation of our Royal Father, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, the Aboro of Ibese land, we decided to meet and make our stand known to the general public ahead of the general elections scheduled to hold in the month of February, 2023.

In view of our preparedness of voting massively at the polls; we hereby request that the government at all levels stretch forth their hand of fellowship by bringing the dividends of democracy closer to our people with provisions of basic amenities such as; Provision of Government uninterrupted water supply, Street lights on Ibese-Igbogila Road, construction of schools, provision of security agencies offices and every other essential amenities that will help improve the lives of our people.

Hence, As the 2023 general election date is drawing nearer. At the presidential level, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an astute experienced Architect and a builder of the modern Nigeria Politics predicated on good governance and rule of law whom relevance and quality leadership traits has been put practical use in the success of Lagos State today. We believe that part of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Presidential plans is to deliver adequate security system, robust economy, improved power supply, academic excellence, health, rule of law, infrastructure, youth and women inclusiveness in governance and agriculture revolution. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as we all know is a trailblazer and a true democrat with genuine heart to serve all Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity, religious and political affiliations. And if entrusted with the mandate, we believe Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will perform beyond expectations.

At the governorship, it has been proven that Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, is the best and the only experienced candidate that has the uncommon magic wand to progressively turn around the fortunes of Ogun State into becoming the economic hub of Nigeria and Africa, which he has been doing since the assumption of his first tenure of office, and we believe if reelected as Governor, will continue to do more in his mission to building the prosperous future of our dear Gateway State.

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA (Yayi) on his own part is an experienced legislator, whom has demonstrated a quality representation as the Senator of Lagos West, by bringing the hands of the federal government closer to the people, and he has done that in a very applauding manner. This among many other reason is what precipitate our support in his candidature to come and replicate his legislative quality here in Ogun West Senatorial District, at the Red chamber of the Nigerian Senate, Abuja.

Conclusively, as a people, and as a union, we have decided and do hereby adopt the following candidates under the platform of the All Progressives Congress - APC, as the most preferred candidates worthy of our block-votes into their various positions.

The Union therefore recommends and announce our support for; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu As President, Federal Republic of Nigeria; Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR As Governor of Ogun State; Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele As Deputy Governor of Ogun State; Sen. Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (YAYI) As Senator Representing Ogun West Senatorial District; Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka -GNI As MHR, Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency; Hon. Awoso Adegoke Adeyanju Triple "A" as Member, Yewa North State Constituency 1. 

On this note, we urge all well-meaning citizens of Ibese land to ensure they get their permanent voters card (PVC), in order for us to vote and ensure the emergence of our endorsed candidates, for the sake of peace, progress and development of our land, state and country.
