2023 General Elections: Aboro of Ibese Charges Electorates To Be Peaceful While Exercising Their Franchise At The Polls
The Aboro of Ibese land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, has charged all indigenes and residents of Ibese, Yewa North, Ogun State and it's environs to ensure to consider simple Omoluabi ethos in the cause of the 2023 General elections.
Alayeluwa made this call to caution in his Royal message to all citizens/electorates in Ibese Land, Ogun State and Nigeria at large, ahead of the elections scheduled to hold on Saturday, 25th of February, 2023 for the Presidential and National Assembly while Saturday 11th March for Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.
Oba Rotimi Mulero urges all electorates to troop out in mass to exercise their franchise of voting for their preferred candidates in a peaceful and most appropriate manner in line with the dictates of the law.
"As we prepare to make good use of our Permanent Voters Card (PVC), we must endeavor to note that Nigeria is ours and regardless of the outcome of the Elections, we must always have it in mind that Nigeria would always be ours and that we have no where else to call home. Hence, we must do away with all sorts of electoral violence and manipulations at the polls." Aboro opined.
"As a father to all, I have confidence that you will all make me proud by respecting the laid down rules and regulations of INEC and the Security Agencies and shun being used as tools of disrupting the elections"
"I must also commend the act of maturity from all our political parties for coordinating themselves in the most respectful and peaceful manner during their electioneering campaigns, for not giving room for any kind of community unrest while consulting and canvassing their supports across all our communities." Alayeluwa added.
On this note, Kabiesi concluded by wishing all political parties and their supporters good luck in the polls and prayed that may the best candidate who will take the interest of our people and the greatness of our nation as top priority emerge.
