​2023 Gubernatorial Elections: Olofin Of Isheri Advocates For Peaceful Elections, Pray For The Best Result


In his usual bid to always advocate for a peaceful society, the traditional emblem and progenitor of all Aworis, Olofin Asholesa, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Engr.) Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade, Ayodele Edun Alaka III, Arole Olofin Ogunfunminire, Olofin of Isheri and Adimula of the Source of Awori Kingdoms, has once again enjoined all citizens and Awori indigenes to shun all sorts of electoral violence, manipulations and disruptions, as they go out to perform their civic duty of electing their choice of candidates at the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly polls.


Olofin Asholesha in a press statement released to the press, made it a point of duty as a father to all and the custodian of culture, traditions of the ancient city and cradle of Awori origin, whom has always nailed on the need for always having a peaceful society, urged all and sundry across all ethnic climes to try as much as possible to do away with any illicit act that can bring about violence and breakdown of law and order in our communities.


Olofin in his majestic words of wisdom once again reiterated on the need for the electorates to go out and vote their choice of candidates at the Governorship and State House of Assembly polls scheduled to hold today Saturday, 18th February, 2023.


Alayeluwa while making this statement from the ancient Olofin's Palace in Isheri opined that the need to adhere strictly to the laid down rules and regulations of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and all relevant security agencies, is sacrosanct to every citizen while performing their constitutional duties.


Kabiesi Olofin further added that it is a peaceful society all evil spirits do want to make their abodes but we must all ensure put the to shame and disgrace at every of our election grounds irrespective of our ethnic differences.


Arole Olofin Ogunfunminire then concluded by wishing all electoral candidates the very best of luck at the polls while also urging them to take the voice of the people as the voice and will of the Almighty God. May the best result with the best candidate be declared at the end of the whole process. Amen!
