Aboro of Ibese Congratulates Dapo Abiodun, Commend INEC

ABORO OF IBESE CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR ABIODUN, COMMENDS ELECTORATES, INEC FOR PEACEFUL COORDINATION


The Aboro of Ibese, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, has congratulated the candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress-APC and for second term victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun - MFR, and his running mate, Her Excellency, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, says victory is evident to the choice of the people and the will of God for the continuity of "building our future together" mantra of delivering good governance for the benefit of the people who has entrusted yet another mandate in care of his leadership.


The highly revered monarch in a statement made available to the press in the early hours of Monday after the official declaration of the election results, described the election as a confirmation of the people's trust in the Dapo Abiodun's led administration of the state which is driven by the Governor's selfless service to the people.


Governor Abiodun has crossed through all barricades that has been set for him not to return, but his enormous success in office has vindicated him through the massive votes of the electorates which is to ascertain the beauty of democracy that has given the people the right to decide on their choice of who takes the mantle of leadership through the ballot. Kabiesi then urge him to see this victory as an opportunity for him to put more effort in ensuring to execute the election promises he has made to the people during the course of his campaign across the State.


As the father of all, Alayeluwa then further admonished the Governor to run an an inclusive government whereby he stretch forth his hands of fellowship to all other contestants in order for them to out heads together for the greater benefits of the state and the people, as it generally believed that two or more heads are always better one. Kabiesi says, elections has come and gone, it is now important for us all to come together to work assiduously to make our State greater than it has always been, irrespective of our differences or affiliations.


Kabiesi Aboro, the custodian of culture and traditions of Ibese people, then commended the Ogun State electorates most especially the residents and indigenous people of Ibese land, for trooping out in their numbers to perform their constitutional duties as progressive citizens, "I am amazed and proud of the peaceful, decorum and orderly conduct of our people while exercising their constitutional franchise without giving room for any devilish act that can lead to breakdown of law and order across various communities". Kabiesi opined.


Oba Rotimi Mulero, in his Royal magnanimity also lauded the INEC Nigeria over conducting a peaceful, free and fair and credible elections. His Majesty described the INEC and it's officials as respecters of rule of law over what he described as a job well done with unbiased capacity. Kabiesi then state that as a prominent traditional ruler, he is very pleased at the whole process and INEC deserved all accolades they can get.


Conclusively, Oba Mulero once again congratulated all the elected candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress - APC, from the President-elect down to the National and Ogun State House of Assembly members-elect and our very own Hon. Adegoke Awósó B'sc, IION of Yewa North State Constituency I and Hon. Wahab Haruna Abiodun Egungbohun Yewa North State Constituency II.
