​I Am Proud of You - Olofin of Isheri tells Prof. Ojikutu On his Retirement From Service


It was a great moment as the Arole Olofin Ogunfunmire and Olofin Asholesha, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Engr.) Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade, Ayodele Edun Alaka III, Olofin of Isheri and Adimula of the Source of Awori Kingdoms joins the Ojikutu Royal Family (Olubiyi Ruling House, Isheri Olofin) to celebrate the bowing out of an excellent service of a proud Isheri-Awori born Professor of Statistics; Prof. Abdur-Rasheed Kola Ojikutu of the University of Lagos, Akoka.


After the retirement ceremony which took place on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023, Alayeluwa released a boastful statement in appraisal of his illustrious son and academic pride of Isheri through the office of media and publicity at the ancient Palace of Olofin Adimula.


As contained in the royal statement, the ancestral and natural head of all Awori monarchs, described the first Professor of Statistics in the Department of Actuarial Science and Insurance, Faculty of Management Science, University of Lagos, who also doubles as the Pro-Chancellor of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), as a proud academic image of Awori land, and a dedicated, committed, effective and industrious public Civil Servant who had offered a meritorious, productive and efficient public Service through his academic prowess. 


"I am proud of your success and knowledgeable impact in the academic space of our country and I pray from the most revered throne of our ancestors that may God give you long live in sound health for you for continue impacting meaningfully as you've always done" Kabiesi asserted and prayed for the academic juggernaut.
