SOTAYO STRIKERS YEWA NORTH COMMENDS ROMO, MOUN BOSS ON HIS EFFECTIVE SAFETY INITIATIVES FOR MOTORCYCLE RIDERS

The Yewa North Chapter of Sotayo Strikers has commended the Chairman of Riders and Owners of Motorcycles Organization (ROMO) Ogun State who also doubles as the National President of Motorcycle Organization Union Of Nigeria (MOUN), Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulrazak Sotayo (a.k.a Sholebo) on his effective and purpose driven leadership that is ensuring that preventive measures are in place and strictly adhered to in Ogun State.

The group through Ogbeni Ajibode Abdulkabir while speaking to pressmen in Ibese, Yewa North Local Government, explained that the excesses of Motorcyclists used to be too much in Ogun State until in recent times that the State Government under the led-administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, appointed Alhaji Rasak Sotayo a.k.a Sholebo as the boss of ROMO, to capably see to the eradication of the menace that is fast claiming lives of commuters in Ogun State by motorcyclists.

Ogbeni Ajibode further stressed that the leadership of ROMO as a Transportation body in Ogun State under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Shotayo's purpose driven initiatives are worth commending for always ensuring that the excesses of both Commercial and Private Motorcycle riders are brought to the barest minimum in order end the menace of daily life consuming and threatening accidents on our roads.

In his word Ogbeni Ajibode opined that "If we see the need to commend any active official or leader in our State we will do so and if on the other hand we see the need to call them to order in case of underperformance we will also not hesitate to do the needful, but as part of the citizen of Ogun State and passengers of motorcycles, we have feel the need to commend the leadership of our State Government under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, in conjunction with transportation unions most especially Riders and Owners of Motorcycles Organization (ROMO) for their efforts in putting workable solutions in place to tackle recklessness and unwanted accidents claiming lives and leaving many disabled as a result of ghastly accidents on our roads."

"We just need them to continue in their efforts to putting more initiatives in place that will further put to permanent end the reckless driving and rascalities on our roads. Hence, it is on this note that we felicitate with dear friendly and active Governor Dapo Abiodun and our capacity leader, Alhaji Sotayo (a.k.a Sholebo) on behalf of the entire leadership and menbers of Sotayo Strikers in Yewa North, as our dear State prepare to play host of the National Council of Transportation in Nigeria."
