Aboro Ibese Celebrates Aremo Olusegun Osoba On 85th Birthday Anniversary


Our highly revered Royal Father, His Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Olokojobi III, the Aboro of Ibese Land, has felicitated with His Excellency, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, CFR, the former Governor of Ogun State and Araba of Yewa Land, on the occasion of Baba's 85th Birthday Anniversary.

In his Royal message made available to the press, the foremost Ogun monarch, described Baba Osoba as one of the very few remaining icons that fought unapologetically for democracy, he reiterated that Baba remains a highly respected elder statesman whom have relentlessly dedicated his entire life to the service to the good people of Ogun State and Nigeria.

Oba Mulero said, "Your Excellency, as the former Governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba you have remained a mirror and a very prominent role model in purposeful governance that is worthy of emulation. You have earned so much respect through your contribution and influence in the political space in Ogun State and Nigeria at large."

The statement further reads "Baba, as one of the living icons and pillar holding democracy alive and strong in our dear country, you efforts in fighting for  unity, fairness and equity of our great nation has made you a beacon of hope to the entire citizenry."

"On behalf of my family, Aboro of Ibese-in-Council and the good people of Ibese Land, I join family, friends, associates and the government of Ogun State to celebrate Your Excellency, as you celebrate another healthy birthday on the land of the living."

"It is my prayer that may the Almighty God that has kept our highly respected Baba and elder statesman thus far, continue to be with you and guide you in all your endeavors as you continue to live a long and purposeful life in sound health and abundant blessings. Happy Birthday Baba, Igba Ọdún, ọdún kan ni l'aṣẹ Elédùmarè. Àṣẹ!"
