Yoruba Council Celebrates Olowu-Kuta On 60th Birthday, Says He's A Great Symbol of Unity


The President, Yoruba Council Worldwide (Igbimọ Àpapọ Yoruba Lágbayé), Aare Adedotun Hassan, Esq. Eyinju Eledumare 1, has felicitated with the Oba Olowu of Owu-kuta Kingdom, Osun State, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Hammed Adekunle Makama Oyelude, CON, Tegbosun III, on the celebration of His Majesty's 60th birthday anniversary.
In his statement released to the press on Saturday, Aare Adedotun described Oba Makama as a Royal symbol of unity, not just the Owu clan but the entire Yoruba race and by extension Nigeria at large.
He added that - in His Royal magnanimity, Kabiesi Olowu kúta is a great traditional colossus whose influence has played a very vital role in promoting, preserving and publicizing the culture and traditions of the Yoruba people  globally.
The statement further reads "Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, you have been one of the very strong pillar that has been holding the Yoruba traditional institution very firmly, and Your Majesty have started putting your influence to good use for the greater benefit of owu people.

"As the apex Yoruba interest group and all our affiliate organizations, we are indeed very proud of your good works, for your reign have brought rapid changes and development to the ancient Kuta town.

"Your Majesty, on this great occasion of your 60th (sixtieth) birthday anniversary, we wish your Majesty a healthy long life filled with prosperity, as we are confident that your relentless efforts of serving humanity with your reign will continue to birth more progress to your kingdom and Yoruba race.

"Baba it is our prayer that may Almighty God (Elédùmarè) shall bless your Majesty with longevity of age, good health and prosperous reign on the throne of forefathers as you graciously climb the 6th decade of your existence on the land of the living." 

"Igba Odun Odun Kan ni Baba, Ẹ'ẹgbo Ẹ'ẹtọ Ẹ'ẹfi Ọwọ pawu, Erigi J'obi pepe pe lowu nṣe nílé arọ, igba yin a tunbọ máa tú ìlú Owu-kuta ati gbogbo ilẹ ọmọluabi lara."
