Nigeria @ 64: Let’s dream, work for better, stronger Nigeria, Prince Adeyinka Illo Urges Nigerians
The Chairman, PAI Foundation, Prince Adeyinka Illo, has felicitated with the people of Ikeja, Lagos State and Nigerians in general on the occasion of the nation’s 64th independence anniversary.
Prince Adeyinka, in a message to the good people of Ikeja, Lagos and his countrymen at large, called for renewed patriotism, perseverance and prayers to enable the country to wade through the myriads of socio-economic challenges currently facing the people.
In his message made available to the press at his country home in Ikeja, he said “I felicitate with our fellow compatriots on the occasion of our country's 64th independence anniversary. As we all can see, the nation is wading through some socio-economic issues, which demand us to remain committed to the goal of nation-building. With perseverance and the never-say-die instinct of Nigerians, we have confidence to get to our goal of a great country, successfully."
He further said: "As compatriots, our dear nation needs us to relentlessly pray for a better better future. Together, let's foster a culture of patriotism, integrity, and service. As it is important we inculcate and nurture traits of responsible and informed citizens of a great and united nation."
"As we celebrate, As we celebrate, let's revive our focus for Nigeria's common vision of progress and development and most importantly, let's continue to pray that may our nation succeed and may we God bless our people."
