Aboro Ibese Arrives United Kingdom, Set To Meet Indigenes, Investors For Development

The Aboro of Ibese Land, Alayeluwa Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Olokojobi III, Arole Asakanran, has called on sons and daughters of Ibese, both at home and in the diaspora, to join hands in the moves to develop the town.

Oba Mulero, who made the call on his arrival to the United Kingdom, is set to attend a grand reception organized in his honour as part of the rounding up activities for the 2024 edition of the recently held Asakanran Ibese Day, he said Ibese Land is now under the era of development and implored all sons and daughters to look back home and be part of the ongoing movement to bring desirable progress and development to the ancient land.

The foremost traditional ruler from Ogun State, Nigeria emphasized on the need for the people of Ibese Land to build on their well-known traits i.e agility and successful entrepreneurship, adding that these two traits in the spirit of every indigenous person from Ibese, have always stood them out wherever they found themselves.

He said “it is crucial that the indigenous people of our dear land always embrace and cherish their hometown with love and pride as they continue to succeed in their chosen fields wherever they are in the world. I believe this is the foundation for meaningful growth of any community.”

Oba Mulero further charged the natives of Ibese from anywhere they are in Nigeria and diaspora to dwell in unity and peace, adding that his cardinal objective is to work towards rebuilding the land.

“Since my enthronement to the throne, we have been working tirelessly towards repositioning Ibese land. The government alone cannot do it; much of the effort has to come from us. So we have to roll up our sleeves and work together to develop our town. Hence, the reason for this visit to the United Kingdom, to meet with our diasporan brothers and sisters and international investors that can join hands with us in our mission to desired progress and development.” He said.

He added that we have put in place laudable programs that will help improve the welfare of our people, so we are confident that our land on its way to becoming greater in the nearest future.
