Awori Youths Hail President Tinubu On Opeifa’s Appointment As MD-NRC
The Awori interest Youths group, Awori Welfare Association of Nigeria (AWAN) - Youth wing has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his cherished consideration of appointing Awori-born Dr Kayode Opeifa as the Managing Director of Nigerian Railway Cooperation (NRC).
The group in a statement issued to the press and signed by the Chairman, Ogbeni Ajibode Abd’kabir on Wednesday morning, described the appointment of Dr Kayode Opeifa as timely and well-deserved.
Following the announcement of Dr Kayode Opeifa’s appointment by President Tinubu, the group asserts confidence in the competence of Dr Opeifa as a diligent and dutiful civil/public servant worthy of the appointment.
The Statement read in details "We express our profound congratulations to one of our prominent leader and Ambassador in Awori Land, who has just been appointed as the new Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Corporation, we believe that his diligence and hard work in public and humanitarian service and his imminent contribution to the development of Lagos State as a former Commissioner are part of the tools that stand him out to be elevated to the new position."
